Windows Server 2003 Product Variants:

- Microsoft Windows Small Business
Edition 2003: This is a terrific product designed for
businesses with up to 75 computers. Based on Server 2003, Standard
Edition, Small Business Server has productivity tools that most would feel
would be available for large businesses.
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Standard
Edition: This is the operating system software for most
businesses in the "small to medium" size range that are too big for Small
Business Server. It is designed for situations that do not require
increased hardware support and clustering.
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003,
Enterprise Edition: This edition of Server 2003 has
capabilities that are designed for a large business, particularly those
with multiple locations. It includes features that enhance scalability,
dependability, and availability. Enterprise Edition supports high
performance servers. Servers running Enterprise edition can be clustered
to handle large loads.
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Web
Edition: This subset of Windows Server 2003 is designed to be a
web server. To increase protection of the business network, some Server
2003 components such as Active Directory have been removed.
