Living Large!
|

|
| With the advent of larger flat panel displays and affordable
projection TVs, large screen video entertainment is more and more popular.
In addition, smaller flat panel TVs make having smaller (13" to 26") TVs for
the kitchen, office, or even the garage more convenient. |
| |
Here are some scenarios that might make sense for you:
|
- Large Projection Screen Video: 99" to 182" diagonal fixed or
electrically retracting screens in a large home theater configuration with
front projection of wide screen movies, computer gaming, sports, or
favorite TV shows.
- Wide screen (32" to 61" diagonal) plasma or LCD TV mounted on a
wall or counter for home surround sound movies, computer gaming, sports,
or your favorite TV shows.
- A 17" diagonal flat panel LCD TV for your study so that you can
check the game or show while you catch up on your hobbies or work.
- A 15" diagonal flat panel LCD TV for the kitchen. You can watch
Dr. Phil, a cooking show, or business reports while you are getting dinner
ready.
- How about a mirror with a built-in TV? These are available!
|
What do you need to be able to do things like this?
|
- Install integrated wiring in your home so you can connect a TV
in the rooms you might be using.
- If a home theater is what you'd like, plan the room to enable a
fixed or electrical retractable projection screen, speakers, possibly an
equipment rack for the equipment.
- If the wide screen flat panel display makes sense, plan for
necessary wiring, possible recessed space for the display. Options include
retracting display or a display behind a retractable picture.
